DR. STEVE F. ANDERSON, DDS


Throughout his years practicing dentistry, Dr Anderson has kept up-to-date with the latest procedures and equipment.  This coupled with his extensive experience, gives him an expert and practiced hand at even the most complicated procedures.  It also helps him provide a very efficient, comfortable and gentle dental experience, so that even the “dental-fearful” will feel relaxed in his office fives him an ever and practiced hand at even the most complicated procedures.

Dr Anderson enjoys treating entire families and he and his staff make even the youngest child feel at home.

Dr. Steven Anderson is a vital part of the Grand Island Community, practicing here for over 50 years and participating in many community activities.   Born in Douglas, Wyoming he soon became a Nebraska resident, started in the University of Nebraska pre-dent program and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry in 1969. He practiced in Battle Creek, Nebraska for 9 months before moving to Grand Island. He loves Grand Island and loves what he does, and intends to serve the community for many more years.

Dr Anderson is a very accomplished dentist, with many awards to his name and is a member of several local and national dental associations and organizations.  He is a life member of the American Dental Association, is a member of the Nebraska Dental Association and Hall County Dental Society.  He has been inducted into the Nebraska Dental Hall of Fame.  He is the past president of the America’s Dentists’ Care Foundation, past president of the local dental society, current president of the Nebraska Mission of Mercy for the Nebraska Dental Foundation and was a member of the Dean’s Advisory Committee of the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry.  Dentistry is a great profession.

He has also been active in his community, having served on the board of directors of Riverside Golf Club as president for 5 years, past member of the Stuhr Museum Board of Directors, Grand Island Music Series Board member, one of the founders of the Grand Island Partnership for the Arts and is the current president.

Grand Island is a great place to learn, work and play.  The residents of this community are all very cordial, kind and helpful in so many ways.  Makes all newcomers feel at home.  Looking forward to many more years of working with patients.
