What is Cosmetic Dentistry?

Cosmetic dental treatments are used to improve the appearance of your teeth, gums, or bite. Our services focus on sculpting your idea of a perfect smile. If you are looking to rejuvenate your smile or restore a tooth that has been damaged, we offer a variety of treatments that can meet your unique dental needs.

In addition to boosting your smile’s aesthetics, cosmetic dentistry also offers oral health benefits! By repairing and restoring your teeth, you reduce your chances of developing dental problems in the future. Not only will you receive the smile of your dreams with cosmetic treatments, you also protect your teeth and overall well-being.

Crafting Your Custom Treatment

With all our cosmetic treatments, we strive to protect and preserve your natural, healthy teeth for as long as possible. Our services are conservative and centered on improving your oral health. We are proud to offer amalgam-free restorations and fillings for repairs that improve both form and function. Your well-being is always our priority!

Teeth Whitening to Brighten Your Smile

smiling woman in dental officePopular beverages such as coffee, red wine, and dark juices can stain your teeth over time, as can the natural aging process. We offer teeth whitening to amplify the aesthetics of your natural smile.

We provide in-office and take-home teeth whitening treatments. For our in-office treatment, our team will apply a safe and effective whitening solution to your teeth. This procedure can quickly and efficiently restore your teeth to a beautiful, natural color.

Veneers to Treat Imperfections

If you have worn, chipped, or discolored teeth that cannot be effectively treated with teeth whitening, veneers may be the right solution for you. Veneers are thin porcelain shells bonded to your teeth to change their shape or color. Dr. Anderson will meet with you to perform a visual examination of your mouth, take x-rays, and discuss the procedure with you.

If you choose veneers, we will buff your teeth lightly to ensure they fit comfortably. Your final veneer is bonded into place and will match the shade of your teeth as closely as possible giving you a natural-looking smile.

Same-Day Crowns to Restore Vulnerable Teeth

dental crownsDental crowns (or caps) are used to fully surround damaged or decayed teeth to protect them from harm. Crowns can also improve your smile’s appearance by restoring the original shape and structure of a tooth. Using the latest advances in CEREC® technology, we can create a custom crown for you in a single appointment.

Dr. Anderson will use a digital impression of your tooth to create a detailed 3D model. That model is then used by a CEREC milling machine, which carves a perfect replica crown out of a block of porcelain. Using the highest quality materials and precise technology means you receive a crown that will skillfully fit your tooth. Porcelain crowns are durable and long-lasting when properly cared for, allowing you to enjoy your new smile confidently.

ClearCorrect™ to Straighten Your Teeth

Traditional braces use a wire threaded through brackets to create tension that aligns your teeth over time. With ClearCorrect, you wear a clear plastic tray custom-shaped to your teeth that will align your teeth gently and comfortably.

Dr. Anderson will use a digital scan of your mouth to make a series of aligner trays for you. You will wear each set of trays for about two weeks before moving on to the next in the series. The aligners use gentle pressure to shift your teeth into place and correct overbites, underbites, misaligned teeth, and other issues.

Your clear aligners may not even be noticeable to others. You will still be able to enjoy all your favorite foods and beverages during the treatment by simply removing your aligners when eating or drinking. With ClearCorrect, you can straighten your smile without any major changes to your lifestyle!

Diode Laser Treatment to Maintain Healthy Gums

If you have a “gummy smile,” our Biolase® diode laser treatment can contour your gums to reshape your smile’s aesthetics. Using a special diode laser designed for dental care, we can safely remove excess gum tissue to make teeth look bigger or longer. Doing so will provide you with a fuller smile and allow you to clean your teeth more effectively.

What if I Am Missing Teeth?

  • Dental implants are replacement tooth roots crafted from titanium. Implants provide a durable foundation for a range of dental restorations such as a crown for single-tooth replacement needs.
  • Dental bridges are used to replace up to three missing teeth. They can anchor to healthy teeth or be supported by dental implants.
  • Full or Partial Dentures can provide up to an entire arch of replacement teeth.
